“Great experience, great house, and Lionel and Micheline are great hosts. Lionel met us at the airport and led us to the house, and they're recommendations for restaurants and beaches were spot-on. House is in a great subdivision, and the rental is private and has a great view of the ocean in distance. Two beaches - Long Beach and Plum Beach - are in the subdivision. Would definitely stay there again.”

A villa made for two
Villa Zenitude is a detached hideaway for two in a lush tropical garden, inside the gated community of Terres Basses on the quiet western tip of St. Martin.
The air-conditioned villa features a very large bedroom suite with a king-size bed, a tiled shower bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining room that opens onto a large deck with a plunge pool and shaded gazebo. There you'll enjoy your drinks while watching the sunset over Baie Longue.
A chaise lounge can serve as a bed for a third guest and a crib is available on request. All comforts — and a bottle of champagne — await you.

Where is Villa Zenitude?
In Terres Basses, on the quiet western tip of the French side of St. Martin (97150 Saint-Martin, French Caribbean), inside a gated estate. Princess Juliana Airport is a 10–15 minute drive and Marigot is 10 minutes away.
Is Villa Zenitude the same as Villa Micheline?
Yes. Google Maps still lists the villa under its former name, Villa Micheline. It's the same guest house in Terres Basses, with the same hosts and the same phone number: +590 690 35 98 50.
How far is the beach?
Plum Bay and Baie Longue are within walking distance. Baie Rouge is a 5-minute drive, Maho Beach 10 minutes, Friar's Bay 15 minutes and Orient Bay about 30 minutes.
Is the villa really private?
Yes. Villa Zenitude is a fully detached guest house with its own entrance, plunge pool and deck, on a gated three-acre estate. Micheline & Lionel live in the main house on the same estate: close by if you need anything, never in your space.
Do I need a car?
We recommend one. Plum Bay and Baie Longue are within walking distance; everything else is a 5 to 40 minute drive. The car isn't included, but through Lionel you get a discount with Golfe Car Rental: they meet you at the airport with the car, and you leave it in the airport car park when you go. Golfe Car Rental

Are there dogs on the property?
Yes. Micheline & Lionel have four dogs, all gentle and friendly. Like most dogs on the island, they bark when a car comes through the gate or another dog walks past, then settle down again. They sleep indoors at night, so they won't wake you.
Can I drink the tap water?
No. Like most houses on the island, the villa runs on rainwater tanks, topped up with St. Martin's desalinated mains water when they run low. Drink bottled water.
What about power cuts?
They happen on the island from time to time, but the estate has a generator, so they are never a problem at the villa.
Are there mosquitoes?
Only at dawn and dusk, so keep repellent for those times. During the day they are not an issue.
